Questions

Is Preinvite free?
Yes. Making an account, making pages and signing up for them are all free.
Do my guests need an account?
No. Guests open the link or scan the QR code and put in their name plus an email or phone number. That’s it.
How is this different from an RSVP?
An RSVP asks people to commit to a date and place you’ve already booked. A pre-invite comes first: find out who’s interested, then plan the party around the list.
Who can see the guest list?
Only you, the host. Guests see your page, not who else signed up or how to reach them.
Can I print the QR code?
Yes. Every page has a QR code to download and a printable sign with the code on it, for a fridge, a flyer or a bulletin board.
Can I get the list as a spreadsheet?
Yes. Download list gives a CSV file that opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, with everyone’s contact details, party size and notes.
What happens when I’m done collecting names?
Close sign-ups and the page stays up without taking new names, or delete the page and its list altogether.
What if someone signs up twice?
Signing up again with the same name and contact updates their first sign-up instead of adding a second one.
