Cookie Policy
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to keep, so it can remember things from one page or visit to the next. Preinvite uses as few as it can. There are no advertising cookies, and no other company sets cookies through Preinvite, unless you open the Buy Me a Coffee panel (see Other companies).
The cookies we use
Guests who just open an event page and sign up get none of these, unless they answer the cookie question.
Counting visits without a cookie
If you choose “Only necessary”, we still count your visit, but without a cookie: your internet address and browser are turned into a code that can’t be turned back, and the code changes every day. That lets us count you once a day without following you from one day to the next. The Privacy Policy explains what the counts include.
Other things kept in your browser
Other companies
Our pages load their fonts from Google Fonts. That doesn’t set any cookies, but your browser connects to Google to fetch the fonts, so Google receives your internet address.
Our pages also show a Buy Me a Coffee button, for anyone who’d like to support Preinvite. The button doesn’t set any cookies, but your browser connects to Buy Me a Coffee to fetch it, so they receive your internet address. If you click it, the panel that opens is Buy Me a Coffee’s own page. It may set its own cookies, and Buy Me a Coffee’s privacy and cookie policies cover them.
Changing your choice
You can change your answer at any time:
The same button is at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser’s settings, but if you block the necessary ones, you won’t be able to log in.
Changes and questions
If the cookies we use change, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Questions: privacy@preinvite.me.
